The Benefits of Meditation

Our Bodies

We push our bodies hard and want or expect them to respond immediately to our wishes. To be able to do so, we need to nurture, feed and rest our bodies. We regularly take our cars and bikes to be serviced, we update and upgrade our computers. We want optimal performance and efficiency from them so we maintain them, no questions asked. So why do we push our bodies so hard?

What about our bodies? Do we listen to them? Do we give them a break?  If we do not maintain our bodies regularly, at some point it will fail us, some bodies sooner than others. Some showing signs of mental fatigue and others showing signs and symptoms of physical fatigue.

  • Love your body and tend them regularly – you only get one
  • Be kind to yourself
  • Nurture your mental and physical bodies
  • Balance your life - work, family and recreation
  • Feed your body the nutrients it needs
